Branding

Overview

The Branding section in the Appearance view customizes the name, logo, and footer. Only superadmins can access the Branding view.

Name

The name appears in the following places:

• Email templates - user invitations and notifications
• Dashboard header/navbar
• Login page
• OIDC login button of apps. Support for this depends on the app.

Logo

The logo appears in the following places:

• Email templates - user invitations and notifications
• Dashboard header/navbar
• Login page

Login page background

The background image appears in the login page.

Custom pages

Custom pages can be created in /home/yellowtent/boxdata/custom_pages.

File	Description
app_not_responding.html	When any app becomes unresponsive
notfound.html	Shown when accessing the server by IP address or via a domain with no associated app.

Footer

The footer can be customized with Markdown.

The footer supports the following template variables:

• %YEAR% - the current year
• %VERSION% - the current version
