Staging Environment

Overview​

Separate production and staging environments help website development. Enable this workflow using Cloudron's backup and clone features:

  1. Install the app at staging.example.com. Perform edits and development.
  2. Create a snapshot by making an app backup.
  3. Use the clone UI to install the app at prod.example.com.

Use this same mechanism to bring production data to staging.
