Multiple users

TriliumNext does not support multiple users. This single-user application is intended for personal notes. See the FAQ for more information.

User management

When installed with Cloudron user management, the TriliumNext account can be connected to a Cloudron user via OpenID Connect:

1. On first visit, set a password and log in.
2. Go to Options > Password & Auth and select OpenID Connect provider.
3. Click Connect account and log in with Cloudron.

Afterwards, the login page shows a Sign in with Cloudron button. Only the connected Cloudron user can log in. Until an account is connected, the password login stays active.

Installs made before Cloudron user management was added keep the password login only. To use Cloudron login, install a new instance.

Usage

It can be a bit confusing but the app is both a sync server and an online web taking app.
